The following are the requirements to work in Germany:
Candidates typically need a high school diploma or equivalent
Depending on the state, you must be competent at a level equivalent to the B1 or B2 levels. The embassy accepts a German language certificate from Goethe, ÖSD, or ECL. However, we strongly recommend passing level B2 before departure to Germany.
Course Details
The duration of Ausbildung programs ranges from 2 to 3.5 years, depending on the profession. Dual vocational training (Duale Berufsausbildung)
This is the most sought-after form of vocational training. Typically taught at a Berufsschule [vocational training school], with practical experience obtained from partnering companies, it provides students with a minimum salary and offers the most job vacancies in the market.
Duration - 2 to 3.5 years
School-based vocational training (Schulische Ausbildung)
Regular school-based training is provided at a Berufsschule or Berufskolleg [vocational training college], with practical on-the-job training offered primarily on a complementary and extended basis. While a salary is typically not paid during this training, there are exceptions, such as nursing courses, where a salary is provided for the on-the-job training period. years,

Dual vocational degree (Ausbildungsorientiertes duales Studium)
This dual degree program is quite unlike the other two. This vocational training is offered by universities or Berufsakademie, where the candidate is required to have a German university entrance qualification (completion of the Abitur or an equivalent examination). Students earn a certified degree along with an on-the-job training/work experience certificate, typically limited to two years. During the training period, students receive a trainee-level salary.
